Finding the Right Orthodontist for You
You should look for an orthodontist who is experienced in all areas of treatment, including metal braces, ceramic braces and Invisalign. This way, you can be sure that you are dealing with someone who knows what they are doing.
If price is an issue, it is always a good idea to shop around, but you should not take the cheapest option if you are not feeling comfortable with the person that will be performing the dentistry.
If you are not comfortable with your orthodontist, you may find the whole experience a lot worse than if you are being treated by someone whom you feel that you can trust, and who you enjoy speaking with.
Your orthodontist should answer any questions that you have, and explain things to you in terms that you can understand. He or she should talk you through the process, so that you know exactly what to expect when the time comes that any kind of treatment is fitted.
