I was at home just checking my email when I got a new message from my friend. I opened it and it said “Company registration Singapore“. It’s been awhile since we have talked to each other. Ever since I moved to Singapore to manage my business, I haven’t stayed in touch with my friends from my home country. I replied to his message and asked what he meant.
A few minutes later, he replied back saying he needed help with his business. He was going to move to Singapore to open a business but the problem was, he didn’t know how to register it. He asked me if I remember the time when I got my business registered. I did and so I told him that I can help him out. I asked him to call me on my telephone so I can tell him all that he needs to know.
A few days later, I got a call from him. I was glad to hear a familiar voice. After updating each other briefly about our personal lives, we moved on to the main reason he contacted me. We Need Vinyl Tape for the Factory to Be More Efficient

It did not take me long to figure out that what we need in order for the factory to be more efficient is to use vinyl tape to mark the floors. I have mentioned this several times during meetings but nobody listens to me. Now that an accident had occurred for the second time in the span of 3 weeks, everybody is scrambling for ideas to make the workplace safer. I do not know if my associates have read the OSHA rulebook, which at this moment, I have a feeling that none of them has read it. If it were not for the book, I would not have known some of the precaution tips that we should have implemented.
I told my associates about buying a box of safety tape to make sure the floors are mark properly. I do not know if they are purposely ignoring my suggestion because I am the only female manager but I am going to make sure that they listen to me this time. The only way I could make sure that happens is by speaking to our boss. I went up to Level 3 to meet with my boss. I told his assistant that it is very important that I see him immediately.
When I entered his room, he smiled and asked if everything was good on Level 1 and the factory. I told him that in the last 3 weeks, we have had two accidents, which could have been avoided if safety tape was used. I handed him a copy of the OSHA rulebook and I made sure he read the pages that I had marked earlier thoroughly. I told him that if we do not place the vinyl tape properly, the authorities have the right to fine us accordingly. He wrote a check for me to use to buy the vinyl tapes for the factory. I knew I should have seen him earlier.
